Emma has been getting accustomed to the spoon for a while, but it was only this past week that she was introduced to the fork. She is so cute and proud of herself when she gets food on there. At first Josh was helping her out, but of course the independence came over her and she wanted to do it all by herself. She was doing SO well with it that I decided to video her.
We all know how that goes...all children can sense a video camera turning on and then they stop doing what you wanted to capture. Therefore, this video doesn't show her stabbing each green bean terrifically. Instead, it shows the whole progression of her learning how to use a fork. It starts with curiosity, which is followed by frustration, asking for help, a tantrum, giving up, starting over and finally success!
