On Sunday night, we ventured to a new restaurant down the street that we passed and it had finally opened. There were tons of cars in the parking lot so we decided to try it. The sign on the door said it was closed on Sunday though I was so confused. But I could clearly see at least 30 people inside. So we walked in. Turns out that they didn't actually open until the next night and that was a private party for the family to celebrate the opening. BUT we apparently looked very exciting and fun because they let us come in and eat their food for free (although after all the entertainment, food, drinks and dessert Josh left them some money anyway)! They brought us out pizza and spaghetti and this heavenly bread and dipping oil. After eating a little bit, Emma wanted to get down and play because she saw several kids (the owner's grandchildren) walking around, dancing and singing. Once she got down, it was all over. This baby was THE life of the party. She made a new best friend and by the time we left, I'm pretty sure we were inducted into their Italian family. Here are some pictures for your viewing pleasure:

Singing to Beyonce's All the Single Ladies:
Emma had the best time and was so tired by the time we got home. We'll definitely be going back to eat again!
Then today we had a blast at the Science Center with our friends. They have a Mr. Potato Head exhibit and all the kids loved it. I'm going to go out this week and buy her a Potato Head because she enjoyed it so much!

Me and my Tater Tot:
They had a big display of these Potato Head Kids and the ones at the top licking the spoons reminded me of Emma...those definitely depict her:
Exploring all the new stuff:
This broom was part of one of the exhibits and she dropped everything in her arms and took it. Every few minutes, she stopped to sweep:

Sliding down the slide with me (still with broom in hand!):
Of course while we were there we had to venture to the underwater exhibit too. We pet the shark, the stingray and a horseshoe crab. And again Emma wanted to crawl into the water with the sharks. She just didn't understand why she couldn't. Here she is at the fish tank where she kept pointing out all the turtles.
It was no surprise to me when I glanced in the backseat on our way home and saw Emma falling fast asleep. I think this day will yield a good nap!

So precious!!
