Pool Party

I hosted the play date at my house this week. I pulled out the baby pool, Rebecca brought hers, and Martina brought her water table. I even decided to try grilling some hamburgers and hotdogs. All the ladies and kids were very brave to partake in my first grilling experience.

Emma was the first to get in the pool:


She was a little unsure about Lillian getting in her pool. She's used to having it all to herself. She got over it eventually.

Lillian was being so sweet and wanting to put her arm around Emma but Emma likes her space and she just wasn't feeling it.



As I was finishing up the grilling and walking a few things inside, Emma fell and hurt her little head. Poor baby! Thankfully she was fine 2 minutes later. I think it just scared her. Thank God for making children resilient!!

There were a few hamburgers left over so when Josh got home, we went out and grilled those too. Emma had already eaten but she sat out there with us in her empty pool while we ate our hamburgers. Josh also threw some corn on the grill for us. Emma LOVES corn so he gave her some too. Look how happy this baby is to eat corn...keep in mind she already ate dinner!
