This weekend we welcomed the warm weather and went to play at Parker's house on the slip 'n slide. I know this is shocking, but Emma didn't want to get in the water. She just wanted to put her hands in it and watch Parker slip, slide and fall. I don't blame her though because the water was cold!
This is about as close as she got for the first thirty minutes.
The grass was turning into mud quickly so we cut the hose off. Emma and Parker practically had just as much fun playing with the hose as it ran out of water as they did with the whole slide.
Once the water was completely off and her feet AND the slide were cleaned off from where Parker had tracked dirt in, she finally sat down to slide. She got a few scoots in and decided that was enough.
She decided she'd be much better off just walking to the end and putting her feet in. 
She is so girly! Parker just couldn't understand why she wouldn't get in the water. And it really baffled him when she walked around the mud puddles instead of through them like he did. They play so well together, but they are so different. I guess that is part of what I have in store for me if Emma ends up with a little brother! Should be interesting after my prissy little girl.
