September 4, 2012 this little guy was brought into our lives.
One year later...he is the joy of our lives!
I made him some baseball cupcakes to take to school to celebrate with his friends.
Look how big he is!
James and his teacher, Melissa.
Time to open presents.
This was the present Emma made for James. She picked out an alligator and painted it all by herself. It came with a couple of paint colors but she insisted on painting only with green because "alligators are green."
His one year checkup went really well. I can't believe James was once in the 10th percentile.
Weight: 24 lbs. 2 oz. (90- 95th percentile)
Length: 31.5 in. (90 -95th percentile)
Head: 18.25 in. (75th percentile)
He now has twelve teeth...all the better to eat with! He loves eating. The only thing he does not like is eggs. He took two very unsteady steps the day before his birthday, but hasn't done it again. He is standing on his own very well as of this weekend.
He loves walking around with a chair so I got him a new toy and he is a HUGE fan.
He keeps us on our toes, that's for sure. There is never a dull moment around here and we wouldn't have it any other way!
