Winter Wonderland

We went to Emma's friend Micah's birthday party last weekend. It was a winter wonderland and all the kids had a great time!

The birthday boy blowing out his candles.
Enjoying her ice cream and cake.
All the kids were "helping" Micah open his gifts.
Then it was time to go run off some of that sugar!

Ice fishing!
Santa's sleigh

Emma and her friend, Blake.
Petting the sharks
She must feel safer with Daddy because she shoved her whole arm in there when he was holding her!

Here is what we were touching

On the pulley
And then of course we had to end on the water table.

The Many Faces

Each year on January 4, I post an updated picture of Emma with the same Boppy pillow so that we can really see how much she is growing. That time has rolled around again...

After her photo was taken she decided to give Josh and I a show. She did all of her different "faces" on cue...

Big Smile

Surprise Face
Silly Face
Mad Face
Posed Face
Thinking Face
Trying to make a serious face but can't help but crack a smile
Sleeping Face
Muscles!!!
She is so funny! I think we may have an actress on our hands!!

Birthday Again

Since Emma's birthday is over a holiday, she gets to celebrate multiple times. Once at school and once at home!

For her party at school, I made cupcakes.
And goody bags

We pretended it was her birthday all week long...which means she pretty much got to do whatever she wanted. Which includes riding the Merry-Go-Round!
Love you Emma!

Birthday Girl

My baby girl turned THREE on Friday!! When did she grow up? She started the day off right with a pile of presents.
Her sock puppet that Summer got her is attacking Buzz.
She loves her Cinderella and horse.
Her birthday dress.

Then we headed to Chuck E Cheese where a kid can be a kid.

She shoots...
She scores! Look at that form!
Letting us know how old she is now.
Before we left, Chuck E Cheese himself came out to say hello and Emma gave him a high five and told him how old she was now.
Of course we had to have cake and ice cream!
Happy Birthday, Emma! Mommy and Daddy love you SO much. You make me proud each and every day and have made me feel more blessed than I ever imagined.
