Emma was so excited about Christmas this year. She counted down the days until Jesus' birthday and had a great time at church on Christmas Eve.
We left biscotti and milk out for Santa.
He must have liked it because he left James this:

The calm before the storm:
Emma woke up about 8:15 and couldn't wait to come and see if Santa brought her a cash register like she requested. She was so happy to see that he had and she loves playing with it!

It took over half the day for Emma to finally open all of her presents. She likes to open a couple and then stoop to play with them for a bit. She really draws out the process. But I like that because she takes the time to enjoy each one.
